Celebrating 5 Years of PIER71™ Smart Port Challenge 2023
Singapore, November 2023 — Regal Pines is proud to have played a creative role in commemorating the 5th anniversary of PIER71™, the innovation platform by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the National University of Singapore (NUS), at this year’s Smart Port Challenge, held at Suntec City.
Established to drive maritime innovation, PIER71™ has become a cornerstone in Singapore’s mission to transform the global maritime industry through technology and entrepreneurship. Its flagship initiative, the Smart Port Challenge, brings together start-ups, corporates, and innovators to solve real-world challenges in the maritime sector. This year’s edition marked five years of groundbreaking achievements and visionary collaboration.
Regal Pines was honoured to contribute to this milestone by shaping the event’s visual identity — from brand concept development to website design, event lanyards, stage graphics, and marketing materials. Drawing inspiration from the theme of exploration, technology, and the sea, our creative team developed a distinctive polygon wave motif, symbolising innovation creating ripples of change. The website experience was crafted as a ‘deep dive’, guiding visitors through PIER71™’s journey and achievements over the past half-decade.
It was truly inspiring to witness start-ups from around the world bringing fresh ideas and energy to the maritime tech ecosystem.
