PizzaExpress International completes its web refresh
PizzaExpress International has completed its look overhaul with the launch of updated websites for two key territories: the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Hong Kong. Following in PizzaExpress Singapore's footsteps, the new look takes lead from the UK's recent visual update to bring home a more familiar, honest, and crafted feel to their celebrated line of products and customer experiences. The websites, which launched 1 and 22 September for the UAE and Hong Kong respectively, was a product of 9 months of iterations and planning, coordinated by Regal Pines and launched unprecedentedly on the now massively popular website builder, Squarespace.
“The challenge was to create a website that was functionally consistent across all the markets while tailoring them to the needs and quirks of each country, while also remaining on-brand. We felt the easiest way to achieve this was through Squarespace.”
PizzaExpress hopes that the new designs, which also include changes to their restaurants' decor, will help usher in a new generation of diners while retaining their stylish appeal to the previous generation of fans.
PizzaExpress is the UK's largest pizzeria chain with 470 restaurants in the country, and over 100 overseas, spanning across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Currently, the brand has a stronger presence in UAE and Hong Kong than it does in Singapore, servicing 14 and 23 restaurants respectively, to Singapore's 6. Hungry for pizzas?
