PizzaExpress SG Launches Green Menu: VERDE
Singapore, 21 Feb 2019 – Regal Pines is helping PizzaExpress Singapore go green with the launch of a brand new landing page for Verde, a green, sustainable menu filled with vegan and vegetarian recipes ranging from starters (like their iconic dough balls) and salads to pizzas and pasta.
Verde features all new recipes which showcase a trio of plant-based substitutes: Beyond Beef, Omnipork, and Daiya Cheese, which are closer to replicating the taste and texture of meat and cheese as we've ever been.
Beyond Beef - touted as the future of protein, makes its appearance in the Curried Beyond Beef Pizza and Curried Beyond Beef Penne Al Forno. Beyond Beef attains a smoky flavour and charred aroma when cooked, just like the real thing, so much so that you won't be able to tell the difference. Omnipork and Daiya Cheese are no strangers to fooling taste buds as well. The Mushroom and Fennel Omnipork Pizza is topped with chunks of herby and aromatic "sausage" and stretchy vegan mozzarella that'll get past most carnivores; and just a spoonful of the creamy Mushroom and Black Truffle Risotto will leave you wanting more.
